NCT DREAM left for Tokyo, Japan, through Gimpo International Airport on the morning of the 8th to carry out its Japan schedules. On their departure many fans and reporters followed them and took pictures. Tons of news articles were pouring out as they posed in front of the crowds.
However, one news article’s title caught people’s eyes. It was an article from DISPATCH, and the title was containing Jaemin and Jeno’s real person slash name of the combination, “JaemJen.”

In Korea, imagining and shipping two idols as lovers are not weird at all, however they try to keep it low from the idols. They try to hide it from idols, so they do not use the idols’ full names but make it hard to be searched so the idols would not know it. So the official name for two’s combination is ‘JenoJaem,’ but fans ship those two as ‘JaemJen.’
But they try not to say it in public where it is easily seen by idols, however the news article used ‘JaemJen’ as the title so fans were surprised. Some are taking it seriously, and some are just laughing at the situation. NCT Dream gets tons of articles every day, so probably they will not check every article’s title. But is understandable why fans are worried about.
