Jeong Eunji Stalker doesn’t accept it

The first appeals trial of a woman in her 50s accused of stalking group Apink and actress Jung Eunji will be held today (9th).

On the 9th, the Seoul Central District Court will hold its first hearing on a woman in her 50s accused of violating the law on the punishment of stalking crimes.

Earlier in January, A was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of probation for stalking Jung Eunji. In addition, she was fined, ordered to take 120 hours of probation, community service, and 40 hours of lectures to prevent repeat stalking crimes.

At the time, the court said, “The content of the defendant’s message to the victim seems to be beyond the level of affection that a fan would generally send to a favorite celebrity. Even if the victim joined a specific channel to communicate with the general public, it cannot be considered that he/she allowed any kind of access or contact.” “The accused’s crime is not good, and the victim seems to have suffered considerable mental shock, pain, anxiety, and fear. Nevertheless, the defendant denies the crime and has not shown remorse,” he said, explaining the reason for the sentencing.

However, she appealed against the court’s ruling. As she disobeyed the court’s ruling, the first appeals court hearing is scheduled to be held today (9th).

Currently, A is accused of stalking Jung Eunji in March 2020, sending a total of 544 messages such as “Will you accept me as your butler and companion?”

While A appealed against the first trial, attention is being paid to the results. Previous article about stalkers, BTS V’s stalkers, CLICK HERE.
