JYP Entertainment artists have risen K-pop status in the global pop market. They are standing out on Billboard’s year-end settlement chart in 2023. According to the 2023 YEAR END Chart released by Billboard on its official website on the November 21st, TWICE, Stray Kids, and ITZY have embroidered their names on various charts, shining their global presence. Every year, Billboard selects albums, songs, and artists that have been loved in the year. The term starts from November 19, 2022 to October 21, 2023 for 2023 YEAR END Chart. Stadium artist TWICE, who is loved
TWICE ranked on a total of six charts, including the album comprehensive chart ‘Billboard 200 Album’. The mini albums ‘READY TO BE’ and ‘BETWEEN 1&2’ were ranked. In particular, it ranked seventh, the highest among K-pop girl groups in the ‘Top Album Sales’ and ‘Top Current Album Sales’. The group is only K-pop girl group to rank in the top 10 which proved its solid position.
TWICE is the first female group in the world to enter and sell out at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New York. They recently completed a solo concert at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, for the first time in K-pop history.
4th Generation Top Class SKZ
Stray Kids succeeded in entering the Billboard main chart ‘Hot 100’ for the first time on November with their mini album ‘Rock Star’. The album reached the top of ‘Billboard 200’. It madea new record of No. 1 in ‘Billboard 200’ for the fourth consecutive time. The group showed and proved they are the strongest in ‘Billboard 200’. They were also named in a total of eight categories in the YEAR END Chart.
‘Five Star’ was the winner of the Top K-Pop Album of the 2023 Billboard Music Awards held on the November 19th. It ranked 82nd on the album’s overall chart ‘Billboard 200 Album’ and 4th on ‘Top Album Sales’ and ‘Top Current Album Sales’. As they ranked 4th place it is the highest among K-pop artists. They ranked first places on ‘World Album’ and ‘World Album Artist’, and 64th for ‘Billboard 200 Artist’ and 10th on ‘Billboard 200 Artist – Duo/Group’.
Global popularity ITZY
ITZY added fire to the global rise of JYP by charting in ‘Top Current Album Sales’. They ranked with their mini albums ‘CHESHIRE’ and ‘KILL MY DOUBT’. Recently, ITZY’s mega hit song ‘WANNABE’ was certified as Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, proving its heated worldwide popularity. Three teams of JYP in Billboard.
