JYP mistreating TWICE?
ONCE, the TWICE fandom, has started to take actions against JYP entertainment. They are sending protest truck in front of JYP entertainment to make their points. They are saying JYP is mistreating TWICE. The words they made as the slogans are, “Face Your Fans’ Needs! Keep in mind the importance of top girl group TWICE!,” “Invest more in playlist and TikTok traffic. Try to get your members more media exposure.” “Don’t forget that JYP without TWICE is only a beggar on the street!” The words were strong, but it was so clear. The fans of TWICE wanted more investment and have more interest in TWICE.
However this request is not so wrong or unfair for fans to demand. TWICE’s new comeback album has reached a million seller, however the promotion was not made by the JYP Entertainment. The promotion on ‘One Spark’ music video by TWICE was made by an individual fan. It was by ‘X’ account @first_lastsana, she had to promote for TWICE instead of the agency.
A surprising news that was added to it was, that it was not her first time having promotion on TWICE comeback. She did on ‘Set Me Free’ activity, too. So actually the fan was doing agency’s duty, the promotion of the comeback. It looks fair to ask what other artists get as support from JYP entertainment.
