Singer Kang Daniel has sued his major shareholder on charges of fraud of 14 billion won.

On the 20th, YTN, the media outlet found out Kang Daniel filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against his major shareholder on charges of forgery of private documents worth 10 billion won, embezzlement and breach of duty for aggravated punishment of specific economic crimes worth 2 billion won, violation of the Information and Communication Network Act worth 2 billion won, and fraud for use under the criminal law.

TIMELINE of Shareholder’s alleged Crimes
Kang Daniel claims that A signed the advance distribution contract in December 2022 by stealing his name and secretly stamping his corporate seal. Kang Daniel says he only noticed about this in January last year, about a month after signing the contract.
In addition, Kang Daniel reportedly asked A several times about the procedure and main contents of the contract, but he did not receive a proper answer and claimed that he/she only confirmed the contract after he/she came forward and received the bank transaction details.
In addition, Kang Daniel reportedly claimed that A withdrew a large amount of money from his agency’s account, used his corporate card inappropriately, or withdrew a large amount from Kang Daniel’s personal account without his consent.
Kang Daniel founded Konnect Entertainment in 2019 and has been working as a representative and affiliated artist. In the early days of its establishment, it started as a one-man agency, but now it includes Chancellor, Yuju, and Widdam Boyz.
