Kang Daniel faced an unexpected setback during his U.S. tour when thieves broke into a staff vehicle and stole essential items just days into the concert run.
The incident occurred on September 22 (local time) in San Jose, as the team arrived for the next stop following a performance in Los Angeles. According to reports, the stolen luggage contained stage outfits, hair and makeup tools, and official merchandise for sale.
In response, Daniel’s team rushed to nearby shopping centers to secure emergency replacements. A concert equipment vendor supporting the tour also took to social media, confirming the break-in and assuring fans that efforts were underway to replace the missing gear.
“Our truck was broken into, and several items were stolen. We’ve been working around the clock to replace equipment and ensure the show goes on,” the vendor posted on X.
Despite the disruption, the performance proceeded as scheduled.
Kang Daniel later wrote on his personal account:
“All our luggage was stolen—outfits, hair, makeup tools, even the merch. But let’s still make it a great show.”
This professionalism and swift recovery earned praise from fans in attendance.
