Kara Nicole in China!
Nicole, a member of the group Kara and a solo artist, is successfully showing her ability in China.
Nicole is currently appearing in the local audition program Seungpung 2024 (Ride in Wind), which is being aired on Mango TV, Hunan Satellite in China.
Seungpung 2024 is the fifth season of a popular survival program featuring already famous female celebrities in China. In the previous season, Fei and Jia from Miss A, Jessica from Girls’ Generation, actress Chu Ja-hyun and Amber from F(x) appeared, drawing attention in Korea.
In the show, she performed her solo song “Mysterious” on her first solo stage of “Seungpoong 2024,” ranking first among all 36 participants. She is the first foreigner to rank No. 1 on the first stage of “Seungpoong 2024” in all seasons.
Since then, she has proven her talent as an original all-rounder through the stages of “Don’t Start Now” and “Jeolmu.” In addition to appearing in audition programs, Nicole has been actively communicating with local fans by opening Chinese SNS platforms Weibo, Xiaohongshu and Douyin accounts.
Currently, Nicole is active on stage both at home and abroad. She has successfully performed as a solo artist with “YOU F.O.”, “Mysterious,” and her Japanese single “Gravity.” She is currently appearing in the original Wave entertainment show “KARA.” She is also preparing for her concert tour “KARASIA” in Japan.
In addition, JWK Entertainment has tipped that Nicole is stepping up preparations for a new album with the aim of making a solo comeback in June.
