KARA PARK GYURI back from the injury!
KARA Park Gyuri, who was unable to participate in KARA’s group activities due to an orbital fracture, will join Kara’s official activities from the Tokyo performance scheduled for the 17th.
According to Ten Asia coverage on the 5th, KARA Park Gyuri is expected to join Kara’s official activities starting with the solo concert “2024 KARASIA” held at “LaLa Arena TOKYO-BAY” (Lara Arena Tokyo-Bay) in Tokyo, Japan, from the 17th to the 18th.
An official from Big Boss Entertainment, KARA Park Gyuri’s agency, told TenAsia, “Park Gyuri is planning to join the Tokyo concert without being too healthy,” adding, “We are preparing for the performance while focusing on recovery.” In addition, Park Gyuri will keep the booth as a special DJ of SBS Power FM “Young Street” from this day to the 11th.
Earlier on the 13th of last month, Big Boss Entertainment said, “Actor Park Gyuri recently suffered a broken cheekbone and an orbital fracture during his personal schedule and underwent a thorough examination after visiting the hospital,” adding, “I received a guidance from professional medical staff that the surgery should be carried out considering the location of the injury, and that it takes about 4-5 weeks from surgery to recovery.” In response, Park Gyu-ri canceled her scheduled activities for a month in July and has been devoted to recovery.
Due to the accident, Park Gyu-ri was disappointed not to participate in the Kara comeback, but she will join the Tokyo performance to the extent that recovery is not difficult due to her willingness to be on the concert stage with Kara members.
KARA released her new single “I Do I Do” at 6 p.m. on April 24. Following Tokyo, KARASIA will continue its “2024 KARASIA” in Osaka from April 24 to 25.
