Kep1er enters Billboard 200 for first time!
Girl group Kep1er made a stir by entering the Billboard main chart for the first time in two years and 10 months since its debut.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard, Kepler (Kep1er, Choi Yu-jin, Xiaoting, Kim Chae-hyun, Kim Da-yeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, and Seo Young-eun)’s mini sixth album “TIPI-TAP” entered the Billboard 200 chart at 147th place.
The Billboard 200 chart is the most influential album chart in the United States, which ranks album sales and streaming figures. Along with the Billboard Hot 100, it is considered one of the most important charts that can measure popularity on Billboard.
Kep1er’s entry into the Billboard 200 chart is a remarkable achievement for them, as it is their first time intwo years and 10 months since its debut in January 2022. It is impressive in that it has been recognized for its global influence and high growth potential in that it is a popular indicator that reflects physical album sales.
Above all, the mini-sixth album “TIPI-TAP” adds meaning in that it has successfully announced a new start as it is the first album released by announcing upgrades in all aspects after being reorganized into a seven-member group.
