Kim Taerae OST singer, ‘Way Back Love’
Kim Taerae, a member of the group ZEROBASEONE, participated in the new OST of TVing drama.
According to his agency Wake One on October 2, Kim Tae-rae sang the original TVing series “Way Back Love,” OST which is a series scheduled to be released in 2025.
“Way Back Love” is a youth fantasy romance that takes place when first love Ram-woo (by Gong Myung) becomes the Grim Reaper in front of Hee-wan (played by Kim Min-ha), who has been passing away her youth with her back to the world.
“If You,” sung by ZEROBASEONE Kim Taerae, is an impressive song with a gradually rising band sound, and Kim Tae-rae’s unique warm tone will be added to the lyrics that represent the affectionate hearts of Hee-wan and Ram-woo.
ZEROBASEONE Kim Taerae gained popularity for his delicate and appealing tone as well as his expressive ability to add immersion to the play through tvN’s “Queen of Tears” OST “Nothing More” released in April. He was then selected as an OST singer for “Way Back Love,” drawing attention from the OST world.
“Way Back Love” was invited to the On Screen section of the “29th Busan International Film Festival” before its full-scale release. With TVing opening a pop-up around Haeundae, where the Busan International Film Festival will be held from the 2nd to the 5th, the sound source of the OST “If You” involving ZEROBASEONE Kim Taerae will be pre-released at the “Way Back Love” content booth.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE, to which Kim Taerae belongs, is successfully hosting its first overseas tour “TIMELESS WORLD.” They proved their 5th generation icon potential by participating in OSTs of various works and singing the opening song of the popular Japanese TV animation “Pokemon.”
