At one point, the man is seen touching the woman’s hair while she reclines. Later, he hugs her from behind as she attempts to leave.
The video first gained traction on Chinese social media platform Weibo, where users began speculating that the woman in the clip is Julie of KISS OF LIFE and the man is Kangmin from VERIVERY. As the footage spread, public scrutiny intensified and demands for agency clarification surged across online platforms.
S2 Entertainment Remains Cautious, VERIVERY Denies Allegations
In response to growing speculation, Julie’s agency S2 Entertainment issued a brief statement:
“As this involves the artist’s private life, the company has no comment to offer.”
While S2 chose not to confirm or deny the identity of the individual in the video, fans continue to debate its implications and demand either further explanation or stronger denial from the company.
Meanwhile, Jellyfish Entertainment, representing VERIVERY’s Kangmin, strongly refuted the rumors.
“The rumors are completely false and constitute malicious defamation of our artist. Kangmin is not the individual in the video.”

Despite the denial, some netizens are calling for further action from both agencies. Many have expressed frustration over the alleged breach of privacy, while others criticize the spread of unverified rumors. Still, both Julie and Kangmin have yet to personally respond to the situation.
