LE SSERAFIM tops Amazon Music Japan!
The group LE SSERAFIM became the best K-pop group in the first half of Japan.
According to the “Best Artist of the First Half of 2024” released by Amazon Music in Japan on the 21st, LE SSERAFIM ranked first in the “Best of K-pop” category. The chart is based on the sum of the album sales and the cumulative number of plays on the music streaming service.
Amazon Music in Japan said, “LE SSERAFIM’s ‘EASY’ gained attention as it dominated the charts upon its release, and it entered the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 thanks to its global popularity. It was not an exaggeration to say that K-pop in Japan is LE SSERAFIM in the first half of 2024.”
LE SSERAFIM tops a lot in Japan. The group was the top K-pop artist on the “Top Artist” and two song charts of the “2024 First Half Chart” released by Billboard Japan earlier, and ranked the highest among K-pop girl groups on the three album charts. They also drew attention as the only foreign artists to be listed on both the “Hot Album” and the “Hot 100” overall song charts on the “2024 First Half Chart.”
As such, LE SSERAFIM has demonstrated its solid popularity and influence by sweeping major Japanese first-half charts.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will meet local fans with its first Japanese fan meeting “LE SSERAFIM FAN MEETING FEARNADA 2024 S/S – JAPAN” since its debut. They will hold a total of nine performances in four regions: Hyogo (June 29-30), Aichi (July 6-7), Kanagawa (July 13-15), and Fukuoka (July 30-31).
