Min Hee Jin vs HYBE, 1-0!

Ador CEO Min Hee-jin, known as “New Jeans Mom,” will likely continue to stay in Ador. The court cited Min Hee Jin’s suit against HYBE that bans HYBE from exercising their voting rights.

The Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Agreement Department 50 (presiding judge Kim Sang Hoon) cited in a provisional injunction lawsuit filed against HYBE by CEO Min Hee Jin of Ador on the 30th, saying, “We believe that the reasons for HYBE’s dismissal or resignation have not been sufficiently explained based on the arguments and data submitted so far.”

According to the court’s decision, HYBE will not be able to exercise its voting rights on the dismissal of CEO Min Hee Jin at the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting scheduled for the 31st. Ador’s stake is HYBE 80%, Min Hee Jin 18%, and employees 2%, and CEO Min Hee Jin is likely to retain her position as CEO of Ador as HYBE can not exercise its voting rights. Min Hee Jin and other employees are mostly on same side, so it seems she can maintain her spot.
