CEO Min Heejin refuted the report that she made her girl group New Jeans by stealing a Source Music trainee.
“The contents related to this are false and the trainee’s video was released without permission, so members and parents are currently protesting against HYBE,” an Ador official said on the 23rd. “This is a breach of contract.”
“This is not true, and we will take legal action against HYBE, who provided the source by manipulating personal kakaotalk,” she said. “We will take action against HYBE, who has illegally acquired personal kakaotalk, provided the source, and even leaked personal portraits.”
Earlier in the day, Dispatch reported that CEO Min took the members of New Jeans, who had been a trainee at Source Music, to Ador and made their debut. According to reports, the members of New Jeans have been practicing their debut song, “Attention,” while they were trainees of Source Music under the project name N Team.
