NCT DREAM BTTF, 9th Debut Anniversary Is Just a Month Away — We Prepared This Album With Debut-Level Passion”
NCT DREAM expressed strong confidence ahead of their 9th debut anniversary and the release of their 5th full-length album.
On July 14, NCT DREAM members held a press conference at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul to introduce their new album “Go Back to the Future” and discuss its concept and tracks.
The album portrays a spectacular time-travel journey across the past, present, and future, led by NCT DREAM — curious misfits on a quest to discover their most radiant selves. It features nine tracks in total, including double title tracks “BTTF (Back to the Future)” and “CHILLER.”
The group radiated confidence during the event. Renjun said, “I’m as confident as the sky is high and the earth is deep,” while Jeno added humorously, “As confident as my muscles.” Haechan shared, “It’s been nine years since our debut next month, but we’ve prepared this comeback as if it were our first album — in terms of both performance and track quality. Regardless of time, you’ll see how sincerely we’ve poured our hearts into this album.”

A Spectacular Comeback Celebrating 9 Years
Jeno also emphasized the album’s slogan: “I Am the Future.” “It means that I am my own past, present, and future — and that belief brings confidence, which I think will be reflected in the album.”
Reflecting on their journey, NCT Dream members talked about it. Haechan added, “Seeing how we’ve grown after nine years feels really fulfilling. Knowing that our concerts bring people energy, comfort, and strength — more than flashy visuals — made me realize that might be even more valuable. I think we’ve grown into an even cooler version of what we once imagined.”
The title track “BTTF” delivers a message of embracing the power to change the future by looking back on the past with no regrets and returning to their most brilliant selves. The song’s dynamic synth bass and time-travel-themed sound create a rich sci-fi atmosphere.
The other title track “CHILLER” features experimental sounds, unique synth textures, and unpredictable transitions. It showcases the bold, upbeat energy of a “chiller” who fully enjoys the brightest moments — marking a new chapter for NCT DREAM.
NCT DREAM members’ 5th studio album “Go Back to the Future” will be released today at 6 PM KST across online and offline platforms, kicking off their full-fledged comeback activities.
