NCT TAEIL left the team after involving in sexual crimes?
NCT Taeil (30, Moon Taeil) has left the team after being accused of sexual assault.
SM Entertainment announced on the 28th, “We recently confirmed that Taeil was accused of a sexual crime,” and “While investigating the facts, we realized that the matter was very serious and decided that he could no longer continue team activities. After discussing with Taeil, we decided to leave the team.” Taeil is known to be under suspicion of sexual assault.
He continued, “Taeil is currently cooperating faithfully with the police investigation,” and “We will provide additional statements depending on the progress of the investigation. We deeply apologize for the controversy caused by our artist.”
Meanwhile, Taeil debuted as a member of NCT’s unit NCT U in 2016 and has been active as a member of NCT and its subsidiary group NCT127.
