NCT YUTA DEPTH receiving all the praises from GRAMMY!
NCT Yuta has received favorable reviews from Grammy Dotcom in the U.S. with his first solo album “Depth.”
U.S. music media Grammy (Grammy.com ) published an article titled “Yuta’s Road to ‘Depth’ on its official website on the 5th (local time), introducing “Yuta, who has been inspired by butterflies, is an album that contains a desire to fly like a butterfly,” and expressing high expectations for Yuta’s first solo album ‘Depth’ review and performance as a solo musician.
Grammys said, “Depth, filled with rock-based music, is a work that depicts the energy and vitality that has been shown throughout his career. Like the work name ‘Deep’, it is the result of Yuta’s growth and development for a long time, and it is a work that leaves a new first impression of solo artist, Yuta. It is an autobiographical work that finally reveals the passion for growth as an artist.”
The article then said, “Through the title song ‘Off The Mask’, he not only boldly tried the dramatic energy and intense style of rock, but also released the energy of a rock star and finally stood on his own stage.” Like the lyrics ‘Tonight I’ll show you my other side’, he also expressed his determination to show another side of himself that he has not shown enough.”
Grammy.COM also explained the songs in the album and said, “This album deeply explores the themes of awareness and growth, self-discovery, and relationships with others. Yuta’s voice expresses this theme more abundantly and reveals his emotional depth three-dimensionally. The album ‘Depth’, which contains 10 years of hard work, was well received, adding that it shows Yuta’s “depth” through Yuta’s artistic moments.
Yuta has taken successful first steps as a solo artist by releasing its first solo album “Depth,” which consists of a total of seven rock-based music, on October 3 and holding a showcase tour “YUTA Solo Debut Showcase Tour~HOPE~”, which sold out a total of nine performances in five Japanese cities.
Meanwhile, NCT127, which includes Utah, will attend the 9th Asia Artist Awards (hereinafter, AAA 2024) at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 27.
