NCT Yuta Tops Oricon Rock Chart for 2 Consecutive Weeks with “Twisted Paradise”

NCT’s Yuta continues his solo ascent, securing the No. 1 spot on Japan’s Oricon Rock Singles Chart for two consecutive weeks with “Twisted Paradise.” According to Oricon’s weekly report (May 19–25), the single has maintained its lead since its release on May 14, signaling Yuta’s powerful impact on the Japanese music scene.
This success follows his strong debut performance, with the single hitting No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in eight regions and reaching the Top 5 in a total of 13 countries. Additionally, “Twisted Paradise” ranked high across various Japanese charts including the Oricon Weekly Combined Singles Chart, Weekly Singles Chart, Daily Singles Chart, and Billboard Japan’s Top Single Sales Chart.
A Rock-Driven Solo Identity, Backed by Fans
The single includes four tracks: title track “Twisted Paradise” and “When I’m Not Around” as new releases, alongside live versions of “Off The Mask” and “BAD EUPHORIA” from Yuta’s Japanese mini-album Depth. With a strong rock sound and emotionally charged performances, Yuta showcases his growth as a soloist, delivering both intensity and artistry.
Currently, Yuta is also holding the “YUTA TALK SHOW 2025” across seven Japanese cities with 18 total stops. The next event will be held on June 8 in Sendai. With enthusiastic fan turnout and increasing visibility, this tour adds momentum to his already rising solo career.
