New Jeans Hanni Mom officially support her daughter
With New Jeans Hanni attending the parliamentary audit as a reference, New Jeans Hanni mom expressed her support for it.
Hanni released a long English message through Phoning, a fan communication platform, on the 10th, saying, “It’s a message from my mom.” She added the reason why she released the message through Phoning, saying, “[My mom] said she wanted to share it with Bunnies (fandom name), but there’s no other way, so I’m posting it here.”
“As Hanni has personally decided to attend the National Assembly to speak on bullying and workplace harassment, her family whole heartedly support her every decision. Hanni grew up by my side, we cherish every little precious time together. Her openness to express herself growing up in difficult situations outside the house was always a challenge, fearing that her opinions were not valued or respected concerned me greatly.”
“Her love for music and dance was encouraged as an extension to express herself better, this is where she found solace. When the incident at HYBE occurred upon her telling me, this upset me deeply. It felt this would be a narrative that would continue to play out in her life,” New Jeans Hanni mom said.
“Hanni’s strength will come from those who truly love and respect Hani,” he said, expressing his support.
Earlier, the National Assembly’s Environment and Labor Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Global Labor Relations Commission) adopted Hanni and New Jeans’ agency CEO, Ador Kim Ju-young, as reference witnesses and witnesses to the National Assembly’s audit of the National Labor Relations Commission, respectively. This is an audit case related to workplace harassment issues that caused a stir by Hanni’s remarks on “Ignore her” by other artist managers during New Jeans’ emergency live broadcast in September.
In response, Hanni expressed her intention to attend the parliamentary audit through Phoning on the 9th. The parliamentary audit is scheduled to be held on the 15th.
