New Jeans Hyein Stop Copying Picture resurfaced
Amid the intensifying internal feud between HYBE and its affiliated label, Ador, photos posted by the group New Jean’s Hyein in the past are being re-examined.
Hyein posted several photos on the New Jeans fan community on March 25. Among them, a photo of another member, Haerin, caught people’s attention later. The words “stop” and “copying” are inscribed in the photo.
Coincidentally, Hyein posted the picture on the day when the new girl group ILLIT, the BE:LIFT Lab agency, debuted with its first mini album, “SUPER REAL ME.”
As CEO of Ador Min Hee-jin recently became embroiled in a “controversy over the takeover of management rights,” Internet users are pouring out speculation about Hye-in’s “stop copying” phrase, claiming that the background of the situation is an internal problem caused because of New Jeans and ILLIT. Min Hee Jin has announced an official statement that, ILLIT has been copying New Jeans.
In the current situation, some say that Hyein posted the picture on the day of ILLIT’s debut means that she is in the same position as CEO Min Hee-jin.

However, there could be other intention. Some say Hyein’s intention is different if we see the context. In fact, another picture posted by Hyein on the same day shows Hyein and Haerin wearing similar clothes. So she was talking at Haerin to stop wearing similar clothings!
Hyein saying stop copying toward ILLIT is likely to be an excessive interpretation.
