New Jeans proved its global power by adding the leading U.S. music awards trophy.
New Jeans wins 2024 iHeartRadio awards at the “K-Pop Best New Artist” category Awards held in Los Angeles on the 1st (local time). The iHeartRadio Music Awards is a music award ceremony hosted by the U.S. online radio station iHeartRadio since 2014, which awards artists and songs that have been played the most on iHeartRadio broadcasts and applications throughout the year.

New Jeans could not attend the ceremony by themselves, but send a video. In the video, they said, “Thanks to the support of Bunnies (fandom name), we get the strength to work hard every day,” adding, “We sincerely thank everyone who helped us.”
New Jeans won the Top Global K-pop Artist at the Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), one of the top three music awards in the United States, in November last year, and last month, they became the first K-pop artist to receive the Group of the Year award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, confirming their strong global popularity and status.
Their successive wins at U.S. music awards demonstrate their global performance. They topped the Billboard 200 main album chart last year in the shortest period of time since their debut among K-pop artists, and also included five songs (OMG, Ditto, Super Shy, ETA, and Cool With You) on the Billboard main song chart. They also performed at major music festivals, including Lollapalooza Chicago in the U.S. and Summersonic in Japan.
Meanwhile, New Jeans will release double singles in Korea and Japan on May 24 and June 21, respectively, and will be active in both countries. The fan meeting “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome,” which will be held at Tokyo Dome in Japan from June 26 to 27, will feature 24 songs, including four new songs.
