NewJeans Danielle Shares Message of Gratitude to Fans Amid Group Hiatus and Legal Dispute with ADOR
Danielle of NewJeans has reached out to fans with a personal letter as the group remains inactive due to an ongoing legal dispute with their former agency, ADOR.
On April 30, Danielle shared a message in both Korean and English on the group’s official social media account. The post came amidst heightened interest following a Seoul court’s decision to restrict the group’s independent activities. Danielle’s letter emphasized her appreciation for fans, stating that their continued support has helped her during the group’s hiatus.

“I missed you so much that I wanted to send my feelings through this letter,” Danielle wrote. She shared that she recently finished reading her birthday letters from fans and described the experience as emotional and healing.
“No matter how long or short the letters were, the sincerity from Bunnies was always there,” she continued. “I realized Bunnies are always by my side, holding my hand and truly believing in me.”
She concluded, “Thank you for being my support during the hardest moments, for shining a light at the end of the tunnel, and above all, for believing in me and our members.”
Legal Dispute with ADOR
In March, a Seoul court approved an injunction filed by ADOR, blocking all five members of NewJeans from promoting independently or using the name “NJZ” without the agency’s permission. The group had previously announced plans to leave ADOR and continue activities under a new name, but their objection to the court’s decision was rejected on April 16.
NewJeans has since filed an appeal and is continuing its legal battle, with no update yet on when group activities will resume.
Fans Continue to Show Support
Despite the legal restrictions, Danielle’s message reflects the strong bond between NewJeans and their fanbase. She encouraged Bunnies not to forget their value and to keep supporting each other through difficult times.
