NewJeans fans Team Bunnies Consults Legal Experts Amid Contract Dispute: “Prepared for Next Steps”
In the wake of the recent court decision regarding NewJeans’ contract dispute with ADOR, the group’s fandom organization, Team Bunnies, has taken proactive steps to address the situation. They have reportedly consulted with the members’ parents and various legal experts to formulate their next course of action.
Legal Consultations and Strategy Development
Team Bunnies revealed that they have engaged in extensive discussions with multiple law firms and experienced attorneys, including:
- Four major law firms, including Sejong Law Firm
- Three former high-ranking judicial officials
- A current attorney with 17 years of experience as a prosecutor
- A former judge turned lawyer
These consultations aimed to provide an objective perspective on the current situation and explore all available legal options.
Fandom’s Response to Fan Concerns
Acknowledging the confusion among fans, Team Bunnies assured that they have thoroughly discussed the situation with legal professionals and are preparing a statement outlining key legal issues. They emphasized that despite the challenging circumstances, they have completed comprehensive discussions and are prepared for future plans.
Background of the Dispute
The Seoul Central District Court recently granted ADOR’s injunction request against NewJeans, requiring the group to continue activities under their contract with ADOR and prohibiting independent activities or signing with a third-party agency.
NewJeans has announced their intention to appeal this decision, stating that the main lawsuit regarding the validity of their exclusive contract is still ongoing, with a court date set for April 3.

[Official Statement from Team Bunnies]
Hello, this is Team Bunnies.
Since the disclosure of the injunction results on March 21, Team Bunnies has been in contact with the members’ parents and Sejong Law Firm. Over the past few days, we have had lengthy discussions with four major law firms including Sejong, three former high-ranking judicial officials, a current attorney with 17 years of experience as a prosecutor, and a former judge turned lawyer. To review the current situation from an objective perspective as unrelated to the fandom as possible, we sought advice from a wide range of attorneys and law firms, and have now consolidated our position.
We are aware that many Bunnies are currently confused. However, as mentioned above, many legal professionals are deeply discussing the current situation, and Team Bunnies is also preparing a statement summarizing the main legal issues. While the situation is undoubtedly difficult, we have already completed sufficient discussions and are prepared for future plans.
Thank you.
