Nicholas served army or not?
The first question that arose about whether Nicholas served in the military came from a spinspin (anonymous question platform in Korea) question to a fan (‘X’ account: templebab). The original questioner asked, “I suddenly got curious. Did Nicholas served army?” to the ‘X’ account. So an anonymous fan asked if he served his military service.
Mostly idols do not serve the military services when in their 20s, they postpone the service as late as they can. But the answer from the fan was different from other idols’ case. She answered, “Yes, it seems like it’s almost a fait accompli among fans?? They said that in Taiwan you have to do military service in order to work overseas. And when I asked directly, he said ‘I can’t tell you.’ (It seems like the company blocked him from saying) So people think he must have gone there after finishing I-land…”
People were agreeing to the fan, and the details why they think he served his military service were pouring out. Some said unconsciously he poses a backwards posture like a soldier, and the Taiwan’s military service is just 4 months that it would be easy for him to secretly serve.
It is not first time that a story about his military service, it can be easily searched. Allegedly one &Team fan wrote that her friend was Nicholas’ military colleague. So not an official announcement has released by the agency, it seems he served his military service before his debut to work in Korea and Japan.
