Billboard Praises “High Horse” for Unique Sound and Artistic Direction
On July 21 (local time), Billboard praised “High Horse” as a genre-blending masterpiece, highlighting its minimalistic intro, gradual build-up, and dynamic shift between tension and release that captivates listeners.
Billboard wrote, “NMIXX has firmly established its musical identity. The song impresses with delicate vocals in the beginning and an explosive emotional peak toward the end. The lyrics deliver warmth and comfort while reinforcing the group’s confidence and artistic vision.”
Known for pioneering the hybrid genre MIXX POP, which fuses multiple music styles into a single track, NMIXX demonstrates bold creativity and growing global influence. Their distinct sound continues to set them apart in the competitive K-pop landscape.
Recently, NMIXX held their first-ever fan meeting, NSWER VACATION, on July 12 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium, performing across two sold-out shows. During the event, they announced their first solo concert, scheduled for November 29 and 30, heightening fans’ excitement.
