Hwanwoong and Xion will start on November 19
Members of the group ONEUS, Hwanwoong and Xion, have been selected as new DJs for EBS FM radio ‘Listen’.
‘Listen’ is the only youth radio broadcast in South Korea. It has been hosted by famous K-POP artists. For example, Chung Ha, Jeong Se Woon, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, THE BOYZ, Kim Jae Hwan, ENHYPEN, and AB6IX. Like great previous DJs, the ONEUS members are gaining attention that they would be great. It is expected that they will show a particularly good performance, because they been proven as a special DJ for the program. Approximately, many idols were active as the DJ for four months. Tomorrow X Together, The Boyz, and ENHYPEN were them. However, some idols did for long term. Especially, Chung Ha did for 2 years from 2017.09.03 to 2019.09.01.
The reason why they were picked
Lee Ji Hye, the producer of EBS ‘Listen’ said, “The goal is to lead teenagers’ empathy with various initiatives for teenagers.” In that sense, I thought ONEUS Hwanwoong and Xion were suitable as new DJs. Please look forward to it a lot in the future,” she said.
Where and how can we listen to ‘LISTEN’
EBS FM ‘Listen’ hosted by ONEUS two members, will premiere on November 19. It will be available on live radio using terrestrial radio (104.5 MHz based on the metropolitan area), smartphone application “bandi,” and EBS ‘Listen’ YouTube channel. So for the foreign fans, YouTube channel would be the easiest way to listen.
ONEUS activities
ONEUS had their second world tour since releasing their 10th mini album ‘La Dolce Vita’ in September. It topped KBS Music Bank with ‘Baila Conmigo’ on October 6, which was its second winning on Music Bank. The most recent concert ONEUS had was 2023 2ND WORLD TOUR [La Dolce Vita] in JAPAN on October 22 and 23 at Tokyo.
