Been a year and 8 months, Park Bom Comeback
Park Bom has announced her comeback on November 22nd, it has been a year and 8 months from her last album. According to the agency, D-Nation Entertainment, Park Bom confirmed the release of her new song ‘I’ on the 22nd. The music video’s teaser video was released on the official channel previously.
In the released video, a woman was spending time alone in an empty room. The indifferent expression, like achromatic color, harmonized with the light entering the window, redoubling the lonely and gloomy atmosphere. At the end of the video, Park Bom’s voice appeared, it was impactful, raising attention of her comeback. The company has said, it is a pop ballad genre that combines acoustic guitar melody and electric guitar.
Park Bom as solo, Previous Works
Park Bom, the member of girl group, 2NE1, is being active as a solo artist right now. She has released albums before, however she didn’t promote a lot. The project single ‘Remembered‘ was released on November 1, 2022 at 6pm. Later in the day, however, the agency said it would not conduct any media publicity activities. It was due to the period of national mourning caused by the Itaewon crushing accident.
4 years ago, she participated in the survival program of MNet, ‘Queendom’. She was the only artist who was there as a solo artist. Others were all with its original team, when she was a solo. Park Bom participated as an individual, was unable to participate in both units of 3rd round. So Eun Ji, a member of Brave Girls, participated in the performance unit instead of Bom. Park Bom participated in vocal unit with Oh My Girl Hyo Jung. She sang a song of Lee Hi, and was applauded for the performance.
