Park Bom Files Complaint Against YG’s Yang Hyun-suk for Fraud and Embezzlement, Citing ‘64272e Trillion Won’ in Unpaid Profits
Park Bom, a member of the group 2NE1, has filed a criminal complaint against YG Entertainment’s executive producer Yang Hyun-suk, alleging fraud and embezzlement over unpaid artist earnings.
On October 22, Park Bom posted an image of what appeared to be a formal legal document to her Instagram, captioned “From 박봄, From Bom Park.” The photo showed a complaint listing Park Bom as the complainant and Yang Hyun-suk as the accused.
According to the complaint, Park Bom claims that Yang Hyun-suk failed to pay her rightful profits for years.
“The accused did not pay the proceeds that should have been rightfully provided to the complainant over a long period. I request a thorough investigation and legal punishment,” the document stated.
The filing further alleges that YG withheld revenue from her music releases, concerts, TV appearances, advertisements, events, songwriting, and composition activities.
“The amount is estimated to be approximately ‘64272e trillion won’, representing the income that should have been paid,” Park Bom wrote.
“Despite this, YG Entertainment has not provided any settlement records or made a single proper payment. This caused severe financial and emotional damage, which clearly constitutes fraud and embezzlement.”
The absurdly large figure, which appears in the complaint exactly as written, has drawn mixed reactions online, with many questioning the authenticity or intention behind its inclusion.
Park Bom reportedly drafted the complaint on October 19, and her sudden public disclosure has sparked concern and confusion among fans, many commenting, “What happened to Bom?”
Meanwhile, Park Bom is currently on hiatus. Her agency D-Nation Entertainment previously stated:
“Park Bom will not participate in 2NE1’s upcoming schedules. Following medical advice to take sufficient rest and recovery, this decision was made after careful discussion.”
2NE1 last performed together at ‘Waterbomb Busan 2025’ in July.
