Park Yoo Chun Manager asking for 600 million won
The lawsuit for damages filed by the former manager of singer and actor Park Yoo Chun resumed after four months.
According to the legal community on the 9th, the 14th Civil Agreement Division of the Seoul Eastern District Court (Chief Judge Park Yeon Ju) held a pleading date for Park Yoo Chun’s compensation suit on the 6th. It has been four months since the trial held on November 8, last year.
Park Yoo Chun did not appear in court on this day, as he did in November. In the case of a criminal trial, the parties must attend, but in the case of a civil suit, it is not mandatory. So he chose not to meet his former manager in the court.
Mr. Kim, Park Yoo Chun former manager, has been in a relationship with Park Yoo Chun since his days as JYJ, and has established and operated a one-person agency, LICIELO, since his contract with his former agency was terminated due to drug controversy.
However, Park Yoo Chun manager filed a civil lawsuit against Park Yoo Chun in 2021, claiming that he had not received a salary of about 570 million won by breaking his exclusive contract with a Japanese agency. 600 million is approximately 450,000 USD.
In this regard, Park Yoo Chun has not made any announcement. The next deadline will be held on the 27th at the Seoul Eastern District Court.
