Korean netizens are growing increasingly concerned over the well-being of Fantasy Boys members after several unsettling moments from live streams and public appearances began to circulate online. The alarm was first raised when fans noticed a peculiar hand gesture from Fantasy Boys Minseo during a recent livestream — a gesture widely recognized as a discreet cry for help.
What Happened?
Fantasy Boys Minseo was seen briefly showing his palm, tucking in his thumb, and curling his fingers around it — a sign known internationally as a signal for distress, typically used by victims of abuse during video calls. Fans spotted the same gesture again later in the same stream, and footage from a music show ending also showed Fantasy Boys Hanbin making a similar motion.
While no official statement has been made by the agency, fans pointed out that this wasn’t the first time the group showed signs of struggle. Fantasy Boys Minseo recently wrote on the group’s paid fan platform that he was “not okay,” and Fantasy Boys Hanbin returned to the stage just three days after the death of his grandfather — with no signs of extended rest or accommodation. Some fans also noted a photo of a member allegedly bleeding from the ear, raising further concerns.
What’s especially troubling is the youth of the group: many of its members are still in their teens, and the signs — subtle or not — have led fans to believe the idols may be enduring emotional or physical stress in silence.
