One more Hyunjin’s piercing episode!
Stray Kids arrived at Gimpo International Airport on January 13th, 2024. They were going to Japan for schedules. As it is Stray Kids’ international schedule, there were reporters getting ready for the live broadcasting of their arrival and departure. While a reporter was shooting a video of Stray Kids, he had time to interview the members for a short time. The reporter asked “Where is the piercing?” and said, “Oh! It’s here!” By his reaction Stray Kids Hyunjin was shy. It seemed he became shy that everyone knew about Hyunjin’s piercing.
Behind story of the short interview
The reporter’s question had a behind story. As the artists arrive to airports randomly, the reporters always open the live broadcastings earlier than artists’ arrival. While the reporter was waiting for Stray Kids’ arrival, he heard about Hyunjin’s piercing throughout the YouTube comments. He saw that comment and said, “Oh! Hyunjin got ear brow pierced?” “I will check today.” “Should I ask him if it is real piercing?” “Ask him if he got pierced or just clipped it for temporary?” “Where did he get it?” “Which side? Left or Right on my from my sight?” He prepared his short interview with Hyunjin through preliminary research and simulations with fans. How he practiced his lines to ask Hyunjin made fans giggle.
The short interview during the chaotic airport was an effort of the reporter. If there are some questions to ask artists, it might be nice idea to ask questions to reporters. They might ask the questions representing fans, and might focus on that members’ certain outfits like he did today. Focusing on Hyunjin’s piercing and asking questions.
