RIDE WITH EVNNE, however too small venue?
EVNNE, the rookie group under Jellyfish entertainment which is a project group derived by BOYS PLANET, announced their North America tour, ‘RIDE WITH EVNNE.’ EVNNE will be having concerts at 8 cities, 8 days. It seemed a great news to EVNNE fans, however not every fan was satisfied with the news.
Fans were not mad at the North America tour itself, but mad at the size of the venue. EVNNE fans were sad that the concert venue was too small. The first site of North America Tour, Le National theater in Montreal can accommodate about 700 people at once.
The right before concert was, EVNNE’s fan concert tour in Yokohama, Japan. They performed at PIA arena MM, which accommodates up to 12,000 people. The concert was live streamed through online, to the fans who could not visit the place.
700 and 12,000 people, 17 times difference. So some fans are questioning why would they perform in North America, when they do not have any base or fan while they have large amount of fans in Korea and Japan. Meanwhile, some others who agree with North America tour, say it is normal for idols to start off the concert at small venue and step by step that they can attract more fans.
