RIIZE Fly Up with First Full Album ‘ODYSSEY’
Title Track ‘Fly Up’ Channels High-Energy Rock Vibes
RIIZE, one of the leading groups of K-pop’s 5th generation, has dropped their first full-length album ODYSSEY. On May 19, the group introduced the album during a press premiere at Blue Square in Hannam, Seoul, revealing the title track “Fly Up” for the first time.
A retro-inspired dance track with a 1950s rock and roll flair, Fly Up highlights the group’s signature energy. Sohee shared, “It’s the kind of performance that recharges us. The momentum builds all the way to the end.” Wonbin added, “The choreography is demanding, but the song is so fun that it lifts us up. I had a good feeling right away—it reminded me of when we first heard ‘Get A Guitar.’”
A Theatrical MV and Meaningful Tracks
The accompanying music video, filmed entirely in Los Angeles, features a cast of 38 dancers and a vibrant high-teen movie vibe. Sohee said, “It really felt like we were the leads in a film.” Anton, who has personal ties to the filming location, noted, “It was surreal to be back and shoot there.”
The album features a variety of styles and moods, from the reflective opening track “Odyssey” to the powerful “Ember to Solar.” Tracks like “Bag Bad Back” and “Show Me Love” showcase both swagger and heart. Seongchan described the choreography as “filled with signature RIIZE energy—there’s even a move that makes you feel like you’re flying.”

Family Ties and Emotional Highlights
RIIZE’s growth as a team is also evident in more personal tracks. “Passage,” an instrumental composed by Yoon Sang, Anton’s father, adds a touching layer. “It was a pleasant surprise to hear he was involved,” Anton said. Wonbin commented, “It blended in beautifully—it just felt right.”
The album also includes dreamy and emotional songs like “Midnight Mirage,” fan-focused tracks “The End of the Day” and “Inside My Love,” and a confident closer “Another Life.”
With ODYSSEY, RIIZE continues to define their sound and identity, solidifying their position as a standout act in the current K-pop scene.
