Two days after Seunghan announced his return to Group RIIZE, he decided to leave.
Seunghan released a handwritten letter on the 13th and said, “I think leaving the team is the way for everyone.”
SM announced that Seunghan, who had been suspended due to privacy controversy on the 11th, would return to the team. “I don’t want to cause any more confusion and hurt to the fans, I don’t want to cause any more damage to the RIIZE members, I don’t want to cause any more damage to the company,” he said. “I want to say thank you to the company and the RIIZE members for their efforts to give me a chance again, and I’m so sorry and grateful to those who have supported me so far.”
Seunghan also said, “I really don’t want the relationship between RIIZE and BRIIZE, which was developing together by supporting each other, to deteriorate because of me,” adding, “I hope that RIIZE, which I love, will be loved more in the future and I will sincerely support it.”

I know a lot of people are seriously thinking about my return to activity, and I am now aware of the seriousness of this situation.
When I thought deeply about whether I’ve been thinking too much about myself so far, whether it’s too damaging to the members and the company, and whether it’s really okay for me to be with the team called RIIZE that should be loved, I only thought of my worries and feelings of sorry.
