RUMOR of Fan Assault Jessi terminates contract
Rapper Jessi, who was controversial due to the her alleged companion’s fan assault, leaves the agency.
On the 18th, DOD, singer Jessi’s agency, said, “We apologize once again for the recent bad news that has caused concern,” adding, “We and Jessi have had a lot of conversations about future activities, and after much consideration at Jessi’s request, we decided to terminate the exclusive contract on October 18, 2024.”
He said, “Although it is a short period of time, We would like to express our gratitude to Jessi for being with us, and we will sincerely support Jessi’s future.”

Earlier, Jessi was suspected of turning a blind eye to the companion’s assault on minors. On September 29, a minor, fan of Jessi, who asked Jessi to take a photo was assaulted by a man who was walking with Jessi.
Jessi left the scene shortly after trying to stop the assault, and the agency said Jessi and the assailant had met for the first time on the day of the incident.
Afterwards, Jessi apologized on social media, saying, “I feel very sorry for the unexpected damage to my fan regardless of the circumstances, and I feel moral responsibility. We are trying to ensure that the perpetrator receives reasonable punishment.”
Meanwhile, Jessi signed a label and management contract with DOD in September to establish independent label UNNI, but the contract was finalized in about a month.
