Samsung Heiress to Debut in K-pop Co-ed Group ‘ALLDAY PROJECT’ Under THEBLACKLABEL
Rising attention as THEBLACKLABEL unveils co-ed debut group
THEBLACKLABEL, led by famed producer TEDDY, has announced the launch of its new co-ed group, ALLDAY PROJECT, set to debut on June 23. The group has garnered intense interest due to its unconventional lineup, which includes Moon Seoyoon, granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Chairwoman Lee Myung-hee, and daughter of President Jung Yoo-kyung. She is considered part of the extended Samsung chaebol family through the Shinsegae lineage.
As soon as their official social media accounts were launched, the label revealed a teaser video, the group name, and the five members: Annie (Moon Seo-yoon), Bailey, Youngseo, Woochan, and Tarzan. Each member uploaded their own “approval certificate” selfie, a fresh approach to teasing their debut.
Members with elite and diverse backgrounds draw early buzz
- Annie, Moon Seoyoon who stood out due to her chaebol family background, had previously been rumored to debut in MEOVV, THEBLACKLABEL’s upcoming girl group. She ultimately joined this co-ed project instead.
- Bailey, a dancer and choreographer, was also once speculated to join MEOVV but now debuts as part of ALLDAY PROJECT.
- Youngseo, formerly a contestant on survival show R U Next?, placed second but parted ways with BE:LIFT LAB before debut. She later joined THEBLACKLABEL.
- Woochan, known as the youngest-ever contestant on Show Me the Money, was previously a trainee at BigHit Music under the now-disbanded group Trainee A.
- Tarzan (Lee Chaewon), a model and dancer, gained recognition from appearances in NewJeans’ “Supernatural” MV and YouTube show Hong Seok-cheon’s Jewelry Box.
With a bold co-ed format and a mix of talent from dance, modeling, and rap, ALLDAY PROJECT is expected to break new ground in K-pop. Their debut strategy, backed by THEBLACKLABEL’s trend-forward reputation, signals the arrival of a major rookie act in the second half of 2025.
