Soojin, a former member of the girl group (G)I-DLE, is debuting as a solo on the November 8. Soojin withdrew from the group in 2021 due to controversy over school violence. -When she was asked, “What thoughts and concerns did you have during your hiatus?” Soojin said, “I always thought about how to approach to the fans who trust me and wait me during the hiatus.” I thought about what fans want most from me, and I opened my SNS first. I thought a lot of my fans were curious about my daily life,” she said. “After it, I thought a lot about what kind of music to do next. I talked a lot with the company staff and decided step by step to solve my problems,” she explained.

-Regarding her first solo EP ‘Agassy’ she said, “I thought about what images I could show the best and thought about what it would be like to show other charms. The images I’ve always shown were charismatic and strong, so I wanted to show you a little different images this time,” she said. She added, “But the things that I mentioned earlier are what the fans liked the most so far.” So I thought about what I could show you differently by taking those feelings rather than completely different charms.”
