The 39th Golden Disc Awards concluded at the PayPay Dome in Fukuoka, with SEVENTEEN and aespa emerging as the top performers. The event, themed “Coexistence, Connection, and Expansion,” highlighted the dynamic landscape of K-pop in 2024.
Award Highlights, The Daesang Groups
SEVENTEEN secured the Album of the Year Daesang for the second consecutive year with their mini-album SPILL THE FEELS, marking a significant milestone in their 10th anniversary year. Simultaneously, aespa claimed the Digital Song of the Year Daesang, reinforcing their status as a digital powerhouse just four years after debut.

Major Award Winners
Top honors were distributed across multiple categories, with groups like Stray Kids, IVE, NCT DREAM, and ENHYPEN receiving significant recognition. Rookie groups ILLIT, TWS, BABYMONSTER, and NCT WISH were celebrated as the next generation of K-pop talent.
Special Recognitions
DAY6 received the Best Band Award, celebrating their decade-long contribution to Korean music. Crush won Best OST for his work in The Queen of Tears, while LE SSERAFIM claimed the Best Group Award. Yugi from (G)I-DLE was honored as Best Solo Artist.
