SEVENTEEN Hoshi and Woozi to Enlist in Active Duty This September
SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Woozi will begin their mandatory military service this September.
On July 8, their agency PLEDIS Entertainment announced, “Woozi is scheduled to enlist on September 15, followed by Hoshi on September 16. Both will be serving as active-duty soldiers in the South Korean army.”
Prior to their enlistment, the two idols plan to fulfill their final official activities, including the fan concert HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING] and a video call fan signing event for their 5th full-length album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN. PLEDIS added, “We kindly ask for unwavering love and support from CARATs so that Hoshi and Woozi can fulfill their military duty diligently and return in good health.”
Currently, SEVENTEEN members Jeonghan and Wonwoo are serving as public service workers, while leader S.Coups was exempt from service due to an ACL injury.

SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Woozi will begin fulfilling their mandatory military duties starting this September. Woozi is scheduled to enlist on September 15, and Hoshi on September 16 as active-duty soldiers in the army.
As their final official activities before enlistment, they will take part in the HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING] and a video call fansign event for their 5th studio album. Although they will be unable to participate in SEVENTEEN’s group activities during their service, various pre-recorded content will be released to stay connected with fans.
As the entrance ceremony to the military training camp is a private event attended by many recruits and their families, we ask fans to refrain from visiting the site. We encourage you to leave your support messages for Hoshi and Woozi via Weverse instead.
