SEVENTEEN Hoshi dragging aespa Karina into the Chaos?
SEVENTEEN Hoshi is being criticized by some netizens after he mentioned aespa Karina in his instagram story. While Seventeen is staying in New York for their performances, he spotted a Karina’s advertisement of Prada on outdoor billboard and took a picture in front of it. Seventeen Hoshi posted it on his Instagram story adding a comment, “Nice to see you in New York, my dongsaeng.” (Dongsaeng = Korean word meaning ‘little brother’) So it was a post showing that Hoshi and Karina are friends.
However his action of mentioning aespa Karina made a big explosion because of the timing. People are still in shock of HYBE internal documents, which was full of malicious comments about SM, JYP, YG and more agencies’ artists. aespa Karina was one of the victims who was harshly commented. As SVT is under Pledis, HYBE-affiliated label, some are saying it is weird that the perpetrators are easily mentioning victims without any conscience.
Some are even linking his action of mentioning with Seungkwan’s instagram post. Both of them mentioned two girl group members, aespa Karina and NMIXX Haewon, the ones who were mentioned in HYBE’s internal documents.
