Honestly, I don’t know any of SEVENTEEN’s songs this year. But if you ask someone who doesn’t know aespa’s three songs, they can still sing them fluently and even dance to them. It wouldn’t be strange if aespa swept all the grand prizes, and it would actually be expected. I still can’t understand why they say it’s right for SEVENTEEN to receive awards that should rightfully go to others, even if it’s not that strange to divide them up like this.
This isn’t right. 2024 wasn’t the year of boy groups, it was simply the year of girl groups. There weren’t any boy groups that did well, there weren’t any hit songs from boy groups. But a boy group won two grand prizes??? This really isn’t right. It’s not even that other girl groups won them, but a boy group?? Two grand prizes?? Seriously, is the world playing a prank on me?

If they had a hit as big as “Supernova,” the fans wouldn’t be this mad. It’s just that they won through mindless album sales and voting and streaming that only fans know about, so isn’t that why they feel guilty? If aespa had won the grand prize, who would have said anything? This isn’t even hate, it’s just ridiculous. I didn’t even know they released a song this year. I might not listen to QWER or G-Dragon’s songs, but at least I know what song they sang.
