naevis debut is upcoming!
nævis, the first virtual artist that will be released by SM Entertainment (SM), will officially debut in September.
Naevis, presented by SM Virtual Intellectual Property (IP) Center, consists of characters who previously appeared as helper to aespa with the ability to open P.O.S. to travel between the real world and the digital world (the Kwangya) in the world view story of girl group aespa.
“Naevis actively utilizes the latest technology and acts as a flexible character that changes flexibly according to various platforms, contents, and media, as well as voices created through artificial intelligence (AI) voice technology and contents produced by Generative AI,” SM said. “We plan to expand the IP Universe through music as well as webtoons, games, various brands and collaborations, and MD.”
Naevis will also open its official website (www.naevisofficial.com ) and release teasing contents sequentially thereafter.
Meanwhile, Naevis participated in the song “Welcome to MY World” from aespa’s third mini album “MY WORLD”, and in June, he performed a surprise performance at his second solo concert “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE” (2024 aespa Live Tour – Sink: PARALLEL Line).
