NCT Dream and Teddy Island 10/18After SM entertainment accused that Teddy Island‘s event was not discussed, Teddy Island updated their own side of story on the official account.
Teddy Island said, their contract with SM about NCT Dream being model is still ongoing. They added that pre-order event is accepted by SM, too. While Teddy Island mentioned about the event, they said “In the future, we will discuss abut the previous issue and this issue with SM, and this pre-order event will proceed as it is.”
What is previous issue?
Previous issue that Teddy Island was mentioning is ‘Canceled Fan Sign Event‘. The fan sign event was supposed to happen on March 13, 2023. However it got canceled due to NCT Dream member’s health issue. So the fans who were selected accept the reason of the cancelation. However, it got canceled once again on May 26, 2023. Teddy Island fixed the date on March 23, and the date was on ‘Kwangya Club’, too. So fans thought the date was discussed between two company. However, no further notice was coming from the companies, so the prizewinners were worried. They asked Teddy Island once again and the brand reassured that it is going on because SM did not talk about ‘schedule changes’. However, later SM moved other fan sign event up to the date. Yizhiyu fan sign event was originally on the same date but at 8pm, but it moved up to 6pm.
Because of this, Teddy Island’s event was canceled once again. After that, fan sign event was postponed without any further notice. Two companies are doing ping-pong on the issue, saying they do not manage it. So the fans are stuck between while SM and Teddy Island are having power game.
