SUPER JUNIOR getting stressed by SM?
Super Junior is having their 18th anniversary fan meeting on November 4th, 2023. They will be having fan meeting twice at the same date, 2pm and 7pm. The concert hall would be ‘Kyung Hee University Grand Peace Palace’, which accommodates 4,500 people at once. Fans were protesting and showing their anger about the small venue. Some are even boycotting on it, as its their 18th anniversary including member Heechul. Fans started the protest since September 27th, 2023. They said its a first fan meeting in 8 years. On platform ‘X’ (former ‘Twitter’), they are using hashtag ‘슈주팬미팅장소_이게최선이니’ to show their anger. It means ‘SM, is this your best for SJ’s fan meeting venue?’. However fans are more furious after some fans tweets. They realized that ‘SM pressuring’ on Super Junior.
Super Junior’s main vocal Yesung had his individual fan sign event on October 6th. While he was having his fan sign event, he mentioned about the 18th anniversary fan meeting. His story was shocking.
The translation of the upper tweet: Yesung is sad because the concert (fan meeting) is not sold out. He said the agency is scolding him. Sold out thingy I hate SM. Let’s all go to the concert and support him. He said he is going to sing more than 20 songs.

As Super Junior was loyal to SM for 18 years, and they were the star who saved SM with mega hit songs like ‘Sorry Sorry’. But after decade, they are treating them without respect is what fans are feeling. Fans are asking them to treat Super Junior right, not pressuring them with the results. ‘SM pressuring’ should be stopped to artists, not just Super Junior is their agenda, too.
