SLBS Fan Sign event went too far?
On April 9th, Stray Kids and SLBS held an offline fan sign event in Japan. In the end of the fan sign event, SLBS has opened dark auction of Stray Kids costumes. The pieces were sold out, and SLBS made the fans to keep it secretly. However, some fans raised a question if JYP and Stray Kids knew this inappropriate event would happen in SLBS fan sign event.
On April 11th, SLBS Korea Head Quarter has officially apologized to the fans and Stray Kids. They admitted they did not get a permission from JYP and Stray Kids, but held the auction event dogmatic. To read detailed story, CLICK HERE.
Stray Kids and SLBS contract has terminated?
Even though, SLBS has officially apologized about the event, fans wanted the group to terminate the contract with SLBS. The fans say Stray Kids should be protected from the brand, SLBS.
While some fans were asking JYP to protect Stray Kids from SLBS some other fans raised the possibility of the termination of contraction cautiously. They assume the contract has terminated before the official apology was posted.
Stray Kids had YouTube live streaming to thanks fans for the AESA 2024 awards. Mostly, the members always had the phone case from SLBS on their Samsung phones, as they signed contract with SLBS that they would expose the phone case as SLBS models. But on April 10th, it was different. All of the members did not have any phone cases on their phones. They were not promoting SLBS in the live streaming show.
So fans are assuming that the Stray Kids’ contract with SLBS was terminated before the live streaming. It could be the result of SLBS auction problem, or just because the contract period may have ended.
