Stray Kids as First K-Pop Act to Perform at São Paulo’s Morumbi Stadium, Drawing 120,000 Fans
Stray Kids have solidified their global dominance by becoming the first K-pop group to hold a solo concert at São Paulo’s iconic Morumbi Stadium. The group performed two sold-out shows on April 5 and 6, attracting a staggering 120,000 fans over two days, marking a historic milestone for K-pop in Latin America.
A Milestone in K-Pop History
Originally scheduled for a single performance on April 5, overwhelming demand led to the addition of a second show on April 6. Morumbi Stadium, known as the home ground of São Paulo FC and a venue for legendary artists like U2, Metallica, Madonna, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga, hosted Stray Kids as the first-ever K-pop act to grace its stage. This achievement underscores their immense global popularity and influence.
Electrifying Performances
Stray Kids delivered an unforgettable experience with performances of hit tracks such as MANIAC, S-Class, Rock (樂), Chk Chk Boom, and Walkin On Water—songs from albums that have topped the Billboard 200 chart. They also showcased unit performances from their digital single Mixtape: dominATE, released on March 21. The concert featured stunning visuals with smoke effects, fireworks, and dazzling pyrotechnics that lit up São Paulo’s night sky with passion and excitement.
