Stray Kids at AMAs, the 50th Anniversary Stage!
The group Stray Kids has confirmed their appearance at the U.S. Major Music Awards.
The American Music Awards 2024 (hereinafter referred to as “AMAs”) announced in an official article on the 26th (local time) that Stray Kids will attend the “American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special” on October 6 as a performer.
Along with the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards, “AMAs” is considered one of the four major popular music awards in the United States, and this year, it will mark its 50th anniversary to look back on the history of the ceremony.
Stray Kids is the second K-pop group to perform as an “AMAs” performer after BTS. The group will perform a special performance to honor the boy band’s legacy. Stray Kids, who showed off their potential by winning the Top K-Pop Album category at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards and the Best K-Pop category at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards last year, is expected to shine their presence at another prestigious pop music awards ceremony.
On the 28th, Stray Kids will hold a solo performance as part of the new world tour “Stray Kids World Tour” at the National Stadium in Singapore. Stray Kids is the first K-pop group to enter Singapore National Stadium and boast the group’s strong worldwide popularity.
In addition to Singapore’s National Stadium, six stadiums will be visited around the world, including Melbourne Marble Stadium, Sydney Allianz Stadium, Kaohsiung National Stadium, Bangkok National Stadium, and Jakarta’s Gelora Bung Karno Madhya Stadium.
Starting from October, the tour will be held in Melbourne, Australia on October 19, Sydney on November 26, Kaohsiung, Taiwan on November 2nd, Japan on November 14th and 16th and 17th, Manila, Philippines on November 23rd, Macau on December 29th and 30th, Osaka, Japan on December 5th and 7th and 8th, Bangkok, Thailand on December 14th, Jakarta, Indonesia on January 21st, and Hong Kong on January 18th and 19th, 2025. In the future, the tour will announce more host regions such as Latin America, North America and Europe and meet with global audiences.
