Stray Kids at Met Gala 2024
The group Stray Kids (Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N) made their Met Gala debut.
The Met Gala, the largest event in fashion, was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on the 6th (local time), and Stray Kids attended as a group and drew attention.
Stray Kids attended the Met Gala as a guest of the brand Tommy Hilfiger, and showed off their colorful red, white, and navy suits. They said in an interview on the red carpet, “We are glad that we’re here. We did a lot of fitting, and it went smoothly.” They added they will start a new world tour, visiting 40 cities.
Previously, Black Pink members Jenny, Rose, Super Junior Siwon, NCT Johnny, and CL attended the Met Gala, and Stray Kids is the first Korean group to appear as a group. Among Korean celebrities this year, Black Pink Jenny and Stray Kids attended.
Fans thought Felix, the Louis Vuitton ambassador and Hyunjin, the Versace ambassador may attend the event individually, however the group had its debut as the group.
Meanwhile, the Met Gala is the world’s largest fashion charity gala show held on the first Monday of May every year since 1948, and is attracting attention as a festival attended by many famous celebrities from around the world, including global fashion figures, Hollywood stars, and pop stars.
Stray Kids will release their new digital single “Lose My Breath” in collaboration with Charlie Puth at 1 p.m. on the 10th.
