Stray Kids Felix as UNICEF Ambassador!
“Stray Kids” Felix has been appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Korean Committee of UNICEF.
On the 21st, Felix attended the UNICEF Korea Committee Goodwill Ambassador Appointment Ceremony held at JYP’s office building. “I want to protect the pure happiness of all children,” he said, explaining the reason for his decision.
Felix then said, “Thank you for the love I received from the fans. Thanks to the love I received, I want to do my best to convey love to my children.” Cho Mi Jin, secretary-general of UNICEF’s Korean Committee, said, “Felix is practicing the value of sharing in life. That sincere move has been a model for many people.”
Stray Kids Felix said, “I look forward to a good influence in the future. I ask for your active support from children around the world.”
UNICEF has appointed people from various fields who make social contributions as Goodwill Ambassadors. On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, it has appointed Felix as its new Goodwill Ambassador.
The Korean Committee of UNICEF explained Felix’s actions so far, saying, “Felix has actively supported the growth and prosperity of children around the world.”
FELIX Donation
Earlier, Felix donated 150 million won to improve nutrition and drinking water hygiene for children. He visited Laos and actively supported the growth and prosperity of children around the world.
Meanwhile, UNICEF is a subsidiary of the United Nations Children’s Fund. It is the only organization whose role in promoting children’s rights has been specified under the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child.
UNICEF conducts health, nutrition, drinking water, sanitation, education, protection, and emergency relief for children around the world.
