Stray Kids Felix Donates ₩200M on His Birthday: “So All Children Can Dream Freely”

Felix of Stray Kids celebrated his birthday on September 15 by donating a total of ₩200 million (approximately $150,000 USD) to support children’s health, nutrition, and welfare—continuing his tradition of meaningful giving.

His donation was divided among three organizations. He contributed ₩100 million to Samsung Medical Center to help cover treatment costs for pediatric patients in Korea. He also donated ₩50 million to UNICEF, which will support nutrition and water sanitation programs in Laos. In addition, ₩50 million was given to World Vision to aid children in family care situations who need consistent support and safe environments.

The artist expressed deep gratitude for his fans and the inspiration they provide, stating:

“I’m deeply moved to be part of something meaningful for children around the world, made possible by the unwavering love of my fans. I sincerely hope that all children can grow up dreaming freely.”

A Consistent Record of Giving—From Korea to Laos and Beyond

This marks Felix’s second consecutive year making birthday donations to UNICEF and World Vision. In 2024, he had similarly contributed to both organizations, building a personal tradition of giving back on his special day.

Beyond these birthday donations, Felix has continually supported humanitarian efforts. He previously donated a total of ₩150 million to UNICEF through two separate contributions, both directed toward assisting children in Laos who face challenges related to nutrition and access to clean drinking water. He even visited UNICEF’s project sites in Laos in person, meeting local children and providing them with direct messages of encouragement and hope.

In February 2023, Felix provided emergency relief funds for victims of the Syria–Turkey earthquake. In September 2024, he supported the “Achim Meokgo” program, a domestic initiative aimed at providing breakfast to underprivileged children in Korea. More recently, in April 2025, he contributed to wildfire recovery efforts in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk provinces of South Korea.
